Mental Health Clinician
Virtual Mental Health Clinician:
Willow Tree Mind & Wellness is seeking an experienced and passionate Mental Health Clinician to join our team. This role is part of an exciting initiative funded through the Ontario Autism Program (OAP) Workforce Capacity Grant, aimed at increasing access to autism services for Northern, Indigenous, and Francophone communities across Ontario.
This is a unique opportunity for a motivated professional to lead efforts in this important project and collaborate closely with our Clinical Director to ensure children, youth, and families in these underserved communities can access high-quality autism services.
About the Role:
Position Type: Part-time, virtual contractor position, 4-10 hours a week depending on applicant availability and client interest.
Start Date: January 2025
Work Schedule: Flexible, evening and/or weekend availability required
Pay Rate: $80-$120 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering high-quality virtual support to children, youth, and families in Ontario.
Leading the Northern, Indigenous, and Francophone outreach component of the OAP Workforce Capacity Grant project.
Collaborating with the Clinical Director and community partners team to deliver group service models.
Building and nurturing relationships with community partners and families to improve access and equity in autism services.
Developing and facilitating group therapy lessons to children and youth with Autism to support their mental health and social skills development.
About This Project:
This position is funded through the Ontario Autism Program Workforce Capacity Grant, which focuses on expanding autism services to underserved communities in Ontario. The successful candidate will take a leadership role in outreach and service delivery to Northern, Indigenous, and Francophone families, helping us address gaps in access to care and build sustainable capacity for autism services.
You will work closely with our Clinical Director and a dedicated team to innovate, collaborate, and make a meaningful impact for children and families who need it most.

Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who has:
Current registration with a governing college (e.g., OCSWSSW, CPO, CRPO) or equivalent.
Masters Degree in Social work, or an equivalent field.
Professional experience working with children and youth diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Experience leading clinical projects, liaising with community partners and collaborating with other team members.
Knowledge and experience working with Indigenous communities, including cultural sensitivity and awareness.
Fluency in French is considered an asset but we may consider applicants with strong indigenous experience without French fluency.
Experience developing and facilitating group service models.
Must have access to reliable internet connection, webcam and microphone.
